4 out of 5 stars Mosby's Vet Review books   May 13, 2007

I haven't taken the exam yet, but these books were recommended by a vet. Multiple choice questions come with an explanation for each correct answer. Good for revision, but not a substitute for learning. Gives an idea of the way questions will be asked on the exam.

4 out of 5 stars great book for review   February 10, 2006

I have taken the NAVLE on 2005 and I studied with the aid of this series. I think that only 3 of these books are relevant for the current exam- the clinical science, the Small animals and the Large animals. The other 2 might be nice if you have the time but the questions they include are not relevant for the exam which is very clinicaly oriented. Regarding the other 3 - they mostly include questions that are much harder than the ones you will meet in the exam itself, but it gives the major idea. Good luck! :)
