Pleased July 18, 2009 Desaray Roggasch (Patterson, CA USA) I was happy with my purchase. The seller was fantastic and I got my purchase quickly, which I love. The book I purchased was in excellent condition. I was very pleased.
Disappointed with chapter quizzes July 7, 2009 J. Gawron (Buffalo, NY USA) I recently took the VTNE and while studying from this book, found many wrong answers. I have the third edition purchased new in Dec. 2008. The chapter information was helpful but there were also some glaring errors in there as well. I found the majority of incorrect answers were in the large animal chapter quizzes. I emailed the the company at the website given on the back of the book several weeks ago. I have recieved only an automatic response indicating they have recieved my email and will respond in 24-48 hrs. I'm not holding my breath on that one.
ok but not great June 27, 2009 Power Shopper (New York, NY) My main problem with this book was that some of the answers to the review questions were incorrect. This made it much more difficult to study and know that I was studying the right information. Apparently this will be corrected in a future addition. I also wish that there were more review questions at the end of each chapter instead of just ten.
Besides that, the information in the chapters is easy to read, and well organized.
Thorough Review June 14, 2009 Kristen M. Costa (Maine) This book provided a very thorough review outline, but may need to be supplimented with other texts if you're studying for a certification exam. A great place to start your studying!
help study for the boards April 24, 2009 R. Morgan (Mountain View, CA, USA) good synopses of every subject; not a substitute for taking courses, just a memory tickler. works well in conjunction with Colville's review questions book.
