Marlene Walla (Texas)
This book has helped me a lot in helping to find out what is possible wrong and how to help my many animal friends. Being a retired nurse also helps.

4 out of 5 stars Good reference but it's available on the web   December 10, 2005

This is a great general veterinary reference but you can access all of the information on the web. I'd rather access this information for free instead of adding another book on my bookshelf.

4 out of 5 stars Invaluable if you know what you are talking about   April 28, 2003

This is a great book. If you already know alot, then you will be all set. I've only been an assistant for 2years, and reading this is difficult, if I didn't have a vet dictionary I would be lost. If you are well trained then I see this as a wonderful book to have, maybe invaluable.
