Product Description An Illustrated Guide to Veterinary Medical Terminology, Third Edition provides a visual approach to learning medical terms and understanding the basics of veterinary medicine. A systematic process of breaking down medical terms into their component parts allows readers to comprehend the root medical concepts and apply critical thinking skills when faced with new and unfamiliar medical terminology. Chapters progress from basic terminology related to anatomical positioning to body systems, and then to species- specific terminology. Case studies exemplify how medical terminology would be experienced in an actual veterinary practice.

the title of this book doesnt even do it justice..... October 12, 2009 Cora R. Yuen (Temecula, CA USA) This book is clearly more than just a "terminology" book. It goes into massive detail on the causes and treatments on highlighted diseases, injuries, etc.. I personally think that this book should cost way more than what i bought it for.
An Amazing Textbook September 12, 2009 A. Crandall This book isn't just some old boring textbook. It has a CD that has a few games that helps you remember the material. For games it has hangman, crosswords, and a spelling bee. It has essential material for learning veterinary terminology. If you are going into a veterinary field it is of at most importance that you know the terminology; know what it means, how to spell it, and how to put it together. After going through a few chapters I don't think I have forgotten one term. Learning and fun go hand in hand. This textbook is well worth it. This is the third edition not the second. The same material as the second, but more games. In fact, my roommate has the second edition and has copied crosswords and diagrams out of my book because her book didn't have them. Truly an amazing book.
Veterinary Medical Terminology September 11, 2009 Audra Jackson (Rexburg, ID USA) The CD is probably the most helpful part of this book. It would be nice if there was some sort of answer key included so that you can check your work as you go.
Wrong Book September 10, 2008 Michael McNatt 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
I put in a specific ISBN number and was referred to a sight called Woody's books, I thought I was getting the 2nd edition of the book however it was the first edition. I don't blame the bookstore for the mix up, I blame your site. I am supposed to be refunded the money through your site and I would like it put back into my bank account.
You need to keep to the ISBN number and not shift things around.
