| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description ECG for the Small Animal Practitioner is the first title of the Made Easy Series. The Authors goal is to provide readers with fundamental information and interpretation techniques that will help them differentiate between normal, abnormal and life-threatening Electrocardiographic (ECG) arrhythmias in the dog and cat. Useful for the entire practice, with concise, illustrated presentations of core procedures, techniques and treatments. The "lay flat" binding makes the book an essential reference tool allowing comparison, confirmation and instant clarification of diagnosis. The book shows actual ECG examples for both cats and dogs. For accurate interpretation of the ECG's there is a custom ECG ruler included with the book. It also includes treatment recommendations and an anti-arrhythmic drug formulary table with the most commonly used therapies-all in one resource.

| Customer Reviews: Useful for students and clinicians alike. July 11, 2000 Path Girl (Boston, MA USA) 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
Dr. Tilley has again provided a helpful reference for Small Animal Cardiology that can also fit into a lab coat pocket. Not only is this a valuable source of information for students in clinics and for exam review, but also a quick reference for busy clinicians. Obviously EKG is only a part of a thorough cardiac evaluation, but it is often an important and underrated diagnostic tool. And for those of us who cannot always find a bic pen (vets will understand) when we need one, including a EKG ruler was a great touch! I strongly recommend this to any veterinarian interested in improving his/her EKG reading skills.
