Awesome informative book February 27, 2009 D. Evelyn Cole (N. Olmsted, Oh United States) I found this book to be well written with pertinent information. It has a great review of essential oils as well as hydrosols SAFE for pets. Great for anyone looking to formulate more healthful remedies for their dog or cat. Great selection of recipies. What was a bit disappointing is a lot of the resources no longer exist. Doing a search brought up tons of locals so I would say this is a definite ADD to your Library.
For pets and people... December 7, 2008 Indigo Iris (NW Wisconsin USA) This book offers a thorough analysis of many herbs and aromatics that are used to create essential oils. Important differences between animal species and treatments are made very clear. It's good for people too.
Very informative November 16, 2008 Aurilight (Woodstock) I was looking for a detailed explaination on why essential oils are so toxic to cats.
Since there are positive applications for dogs I'm passing the book on to a friend who has dogs!
Wealth of Knowledge in this book April 15, 2008 Bookreader (Texas) This is a great book to have on hand. Especially for animal lovers. It has different chapters for the differant animals. This book is also easy to read.
5 Thumbs Up :) March 11, 2008 Shalla DeGuzman (Bamberg, Germany) My dogs, cats and my family are so happy about this book because it teaches using natural remedies to cure common ailments in pets. I mean, we don't want to use flea/tick repellents that can harm us... so using aromatherapy (in right doses) is so much safer. Besides, like lavender and ylang ylang aromatherapy--going natural smells so much better!
